A website isn't something you build once and forget. WordPress, themes and plugins release updates constantly. Skip them and the site slowly gets slower, breaks after an update, or gets hacked. Do them carelessly and something breaks anyway. Either way, you find out when a customer tells you the site is down.
Our maintenance plans take that off your plate. Updates are tested and backed up first, the site is watched around the clock, and when you need a phone number, photo or hours changed, you send one message and it gets done.
Website Maintenance Plans
Month to month. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.
Essential — $99/mo
Core, theme and plugin updates with a backup before every update. Daily offsite backups. Security scanning. Uptime monitoring. Up to 30 minutes of small edits a month. Response within 2 business days.
Growth — $149/mo
Everything in Essential, plus up to 1 hour of edits a month, speed and broken-link checks, and Google Search Console monitoring with errors fixed as they appear. Response within 1 business day.
Priority — $199/mo
Everything in Growth, plus up to 2 hours of edits a month (or one new page), malware cleanup included if the site is ever hacked, and same-business-day response.
Unused edit time doesn't roll over. Bigger projects, like a redesign or new sections, are quoted separately. If we built your site, ongoing care is already part of your hosting plan, so you don't need one of these.
What's Included
- Safe updates. WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, with a backup taken first so anything that breaks can be rolled back.
- Daily offsite backups. Stored away from your host, so a server problem doesn't take your backups with it.
- Security scanning. Regular malware and vulnerability checks, with problems flagged and fixed.
- Uptime monitoring. If the site goes down, we know and we start fixing it.
- Small edits. Text, photos, hours, phone numbers, staff changes, a broken link. Send a message; it gets done.
- A real person. You deal with one small team, not a ticket queue. We tell you when something needs your attention.
Why Maintenance Matters for Local Businesses
Outdated plugins are the #1 way in
Most small business sites that get hacked weren't targeted. An old plugin with a known hole got found by an automated scan. Keeping things updated closes those holes.
Downtime costs calls
If your site is down on a Saturday morning when someone's water heater fails, they call the next company. Monitoring catches it fast.
Speed affects rankings and calls
Sites slow down as plugins pile up. A slow site ranks worse and loses more visitors on phones.
Search Console errors go unnoticed
Google reports pages it can't index or problems on mobile, but nobody reads those emails. On Growth and Priority, we do and fix them.
Website Maintenance FAQ
How much do website maintenance services cost?
Our plans are $99, $149 or $199 a month, month to month. The difference is how much edit time is included, how fast we respond, and whether malware cleanup is covered.
Which platforms do you maintain?
Mainly WordPress, including sites built with Elementor or Divi. We can also handle edits and monitoring on Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy sites, where the platform takes care of core updates.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Plans are month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel.
What if my site is already hacked or broken?
We'll look at it and quote the cleanup or repair first, then move you onto a plan so it stays fixed.
Do you work with businesses outside North Carolina?
Yes. We're based in Mooresville, NC and maintain websites for businesses anywhere in the U.S.
Will you give me a list of every change you make?
We keep your site running and tell you whenever something needs your attention or a decision. Edits you request are confirmed when they're done.
