Website Redesign Services

Website Redesign Services That Keep the Rankings You Already Earned

A new website should bring in more calls, not wipe out the Google rankings you spent years building. We redesign small business websites, especially for plumbers, roofers, HVAC companies, electricians and contractors, with a ranking-safe launch process: every page that ranks is protected, every old address is redirected, and nothing switches over until it's checked. One-time builds from $2,497.

Most business owners put off a redesign for one reason: they've heard the stories. A new site goes live, it looks great, and a month later the phone is quieter than it's been in years. Usually nothing was wrong with the design. The old page addresses disappeared, the page titles Google was ranking got rewritten, or the new site launched slower than the old one.

All of that is avoidable. A redesign done right keeps what's working and fixes what isn't. That's how we approach every one.

Signs It's Time for a Redesign

It's slow or clumsy on a phone

Most local searches happen on a phone. If your site takes several seconds to load or the phone number isn't one tap away, you're losing calls you never see.

It looks like 2014

Customers judge a business by its website in seconds. Dated design, stock photos and broken pages make a solid company look like a risky one.

Everything is on one or two pages

If every service lives on a single page, Google can't rank you for each one. Separate, focused service pages are often the biggest ranking gain in a redesign.

You can't update it

Locked into a builder you can't edit, or a developer who stopped answering. A redesign is the time to get a site you own and a team that responds.

Traffic but no calls

People find the site and leave. That's usually a layout and trust problem: no clear phone number, no reviews, no real photos, no reason to pick you.

You've changed and the site hasn't

New services, new towns, a new focus like builder work or commercial jobs. The site should sell the business you have now.

Our Ranking-Safe Redesign Process

  1. Record where you rank today. Before anything changes, we pull every search term your site ranks for, which page ranks for each, your Google Maps position, and your mobile speed scores. That's the "before" we measure against.
  2. Protect the pages that rank. Pages already ranking well keep their address, and their titles and main wording stay close to what Google already trusts. We improve around them instead of starting over.
  3. Map every old address. Any page that moves gets a permanent redirect from its old address to its new one, so links and rankings carry over instead of hitting a dead end.
  4. Build and test on a private preview. You review the full site at a hidden address that Google can't index. Speed, mobile layout, forms and tap-to-call are tested before launch.
  5. Switch carefully. We change only what's needed to point your domain at the new site. Business email settings are never touched, and the old site stays available as a fallback.
  6. Watch it daily after launch. We check rankings, indexing and forms every day for the first two weeks, with a clear plan to roll back if something important drops and doesn't recover.

What Gets Better in a Redesign

  • Speed. Custom-coded sites that load fast on phones, not page-builder bloat.
  • Service pages. One focused page for each service that's worth ranking for.
  • Trust. Real photos, reviews, license and insurance details where customers look for them.
  • Calls and forms. Tap-to-call on every screen and short forms that go straight to your phone.
  • Local and AI visibility. Schema markup and clear business details that Google, Google Maps and AI tools like ChatGPT can read. More on AI search visibility.

Website Redesign FAQ

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

It can if it's done carelessly. Our process records your rankings first, keeps ranking pages and their addresses intact, redirects anything that moves, and monitors daily after launch. No one can guarantee rankings, but these steps remove the usual causes of a drop.

How much does a website redesign cost?

Redesigns use our standard packages: $2,497, $4,497, or from about $8,500 for larger sites, plus monthly hosting of $49, $99 or $149.

How long does a redesign take?

About one to three weeks depending on size, once we have your photos and details. Launch timing is planned so nothing switches over until the new site is checked.

Can you redesign a WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy site?

Yes. We rebuild the site as a fast custom site and move your content over. If you'd rather stay on WordPress and just keep it healthy, see our website maintenance plans.

Will my email keep working?

Yes. We change only the settings that point your domain at the website. Email settings are left alone.

Do you only redesign sites in North Carolina?

No. We're based in Mooresville, NC and redesign websites for businesses anywhere in the U.S.
